Landon Dickson, MD, FACP, FASN
Landon Dickson, MD, is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Utah in 2008. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Indiana University and his fellowship in Nephrology at Indiana University where he was Chief Fellow. Dr. Dickson is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Dickson has worked with the Fresenius nephrology clinics in Utah since 2013. He was an adjunct community faculty member at the University of Utah School of Medicine for 12 years and is now a Clinical Affiliate Faculty at the BYU School of Medicine. He is involved in clinical research and is trying to improve the quality of healthcare delivered to patients. His interests are in slowing the progression of chronic kidney disease, autoimmune and genetic kidney diseases, resistant hypertension, kidney stone prevention, polycystic kidney disease, kidney disease in pregnancy, geriatric kidney disease, hemodialysis, and home dialysis.
Dr. Dickson cares about the experience that his patients have. He understands that kidney disease has a deep impact on them as well as their family and loved ones. He tries to deliver compassionate care. He loves to develop long-term relationships with his patients.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and children, playing jazz piano, fly fishing, studying Utah history, discovering Utah geology, and hiking the trails in the incredible Wasatch Mountains.
He is fluent in English and Spanish.
